Our Vision:
 Our Aim is to become one in the spirit. Prayerfully, we desire to pursue a relationship with Jesus Christ, to
pray without ceasing, to study God's word daily, and to deepen our commitment to Jesus as Lord of our lives.
We desire to love each other with Christ-like love and integrity, extending grace and forgiveness to one another.
Our goal is to build each other up in the spirit so Christ using the building blocks of:
>> Authenticity
>> Courtesy
>> Hospitality
>> Mutuality (encouragement, honoring, accountability)

| Ultimately, we desire to become role models for the women of Evergreen Valley Church and our community.
We know that no one is perfect except Christ Himself, but we strive together in unity to live lives of sanctification. As
we reach out to others in our church and community who may be lost or hurting, we embrace them in God's love. |

| EVENTS CALENDAR |

Women's Ministry Meetings
- August 22 at 9:00 a.m. at the church. Anyone wanting to work in the
Women's Ministry is invited to come. We will not have a meeting on September
5, since that is Labor Day weekend.
- Mark your Calendars starting October 3, our Women's Ministry Meetings are on the First
Saturday of every month at 9:00 a.m. at the church. If you feel called to work in the ministry
please attend the meetings. We would like to have all the women that are
teaching Women's Bible Studies attend these meetings also. Please try to attend.
Simple Motherhood New Ministry:
- Evergreen Valley Church has a new ministry, Simple Motherhood. (Expecting mothers and mothers with children of all ages are included!).
We are meeting this summer, the second Tuesday morning each month, 9:30-11:30am
- The next playdate: August 11th, 2009 - 9:30 am to 11:30 am.Theme Fest, (near Bernal/Santa Teresa), www.themefest.com.
Cost is $7/child and $5 for the siblings. Bring your own food, drink and a blanket and enjoy the day. Meet at the church at 9:30 and we will caravan. Contact Sherry Hadley if you
have any questions at sherryhadley@sbcglobal.net.
- Mark your calendars for these upcoming meetings:
- September 8th, 2009 - Playdate 9:30 to 11:30
- September 22nd, 2009 - 9:30 to 11:30 First Simple Motherhood meeting and
sharing time.
This is a Bible study with childcare provided.
Intercessory Prayer - All are welcome to participate.
- Thursdays 9:00 - 10:30 AM
Sunday morning Pre-Service Prayer - All are welcome to participate in early morning prayer time.
Women's Bible Studies:
- Are you in a small group Bible Study? If not and you would like to be in a small group
Bible study for and with women only, come join us on Thursday nights at the church at
7:00 pm. Bring a friend, your Bible and come join us. Please contact
